Documents and local processing
Opening, editing, previewing and exporting documents are designed to run in the browser. Personal document text and filenames are not automatically sent to a rendering API.
Storage on this device
Copies you choose to keep in the vault use browser storage. They remain tied to this origin, device and browser. They are neither cross-device synchronization nor a permanent external backup.
Server, links and limits
The server receives requests required to load the website. Hosting log retention has not been audited here. Opening an external link leaves IAPont’s local boundary and is governed by the destination website.
OG Studio and URL audits
Images loaded in OG Studio are decoded, adapted and re-encoded in the browser. They are not uploaded to the IAPont server for export. URL checks are different: the entered address is sent to the server so it can read the public page and, when present, its Open Graph image. A pseudonymous anti-abuse identifier derived from the IP address may be stored temporarily on the server, without this function storing the raw IP address.
